In a layman’s words,
blood pressure is the force at which the blood forces upon itself on
the artery vessels. Normally, the blood pressure of an individual
averages between 120, at the maximum to 80, when at the minimum.
Anybody with a blood pressure of about 120 and 139 mm Hg, or at about
80 to 89 mm Hg is considered to be at a stage of pre-hypertension.
However, if he or she crosses this stage he or she will be regarded
as having attained the state of a high blood pressure. This is a
life-threatening stage and you maybe at an increased risk after this,
if you don’t put things on a check. Prolonged high blood pressure
vessels will only narrow them and cause more damage, making it
difficult for the body to pump in more blood and thus affect your
blood circulation. Thus, you have increased chances of having a heart
attack once your blood vessels get clogged.
However, with just a
little bit of precaution and timely check ups you can avoid yourself
the whole mess and perhaps save yourself from the harassing treatment
that would otherwise follow.
One of the best medicines for high
blood pressure available today is the ATACAND. Its basically an
angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) capsule, that is used exclusively
for the treatment of high blood pressure. The best aspect of this
medicine is that it can work side by side along with other pressure
reducing medicines. Moreover, not much of a difference was found
while administering the medicines to males or females, or elder
patients. Not that the medicine was found to have any kind of
side-effects worked to its many benefits. However, an ironic study
revealed that the medicine was biased in its results when it came to
the race. Blacks were found to have an undue advantage than in
comparison to whites. Look who stands to gain from this kind of
racial discrimination!
