Loosely defined, blood pressure is the measure of the force at which
blood is pumped against the inner walls of the arteries.

killer with not readily discernible symptoms. As a result, the disease
is hard to diagnose until it progresses to the later stages.

the arteries of the lungs that carry oxygen-poor blood from the heart
to the lungs. Pulmonary arteries that carry blood from the right side
of the heart to the lungs become constricted making the heart pump
harder because of higher resistance.
