| Signs of High Blood Pressure |
|
High blood pressure is often called the silent killer. There are no obvious symptoms of hypertension and many hypertensive patients may actually not be aware of their condition. The symptoms of hypertension are not obvious, but they do exist. These symptoms are usually in a mild form. The problem is that these symptoms are often mistaken for other conditions and may be easily misinterpreted. Some of the symptoms of high blood pressure are dizzy spells, blurred vision, headache and nausea. People often do not seek medical care until they have symptoms arising from the organ damage caused by chronic high blood pressure. If left untreated, high blood pressure can result in coronary heart disease, heart failure, stroke, and kidney failure and eye damage. |
