Remember being overweight will aggravate the condition. 2) Never miss out on your medicines for hypertension. 3) Exercise regularly. Make it a point to exercise daily for at least 30 minutes. You can also do this by dividing the whole session into three 10-minute sessions each. 5) Avoid too much intake of salt and sodium. Enjoy more fresh fruits, greens, whole grains, and low-fat dairy foods. 6) Don't season your food with salt. Use spices and herbs to season it. This would help you reduce the intake of salt. 7) Quit Smoking and stop taking alcohol. 8) Last but not the least try to sleep well, that is, eight hours a day. |
