Cider Vinegar as a Cure for High Blood Pressure

Good nutrition not only helps to lower the high blood pressure but also reduces the risk of high blood pressure induced heart diseases. As has been observed, herbal treatment and good diet can do wonder for those who are hypersensitive. In this context cider vinegar may help a lot if taken regularly with a fat free diet.

Vinegar is produced by fermentation of ethanol. Acetic acid is its key ingredient. Its other ingredients are citric acid and tartaric acid. Apple vinegar as an herbal remedy isĀ  supposed to be beneficial for preventing high blood pressure.

Its main content is pectin. Pectin is known for its fat burning quality. Although there are many people who take vinegar in their diet just for the taste, but those who are overweight and cannot spare time for workouts, use it as a fat burner.

It supposedly works as a fat burner and thus helps in weight loss. The burning of the fat or thermogenesis induced by cider vinegar helps to reduce weight and to prevent high blood pressure. Moreover patients who suffer from hypertension may also benefit from apple cider vinegar. It takes just two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar to reduce weight and control high blood pressure.

On the other hand, there is a school of thought that feels that the benefits of apple cider vinegar may be overhyped and that it does not provide the benefits that it is supposed to. This school of thought feels that high blood pressure is a complex condition that is the result of a combination of various factors. It also feels that although there may be some benefits of apple cider vinegar, taking two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar may be too simplistic a solution for reducing hypertension.

Whatever may be the actual truth, apple cider vinegar is being touted as a cure all for all types of diseases whether it is arthritis, gout, headaches or diabetes. The companies marketing this health food product have never had it so well, and health conscious people are reaching out for their bottle of apple cider vinegar everyday.
