Herbs for Hypertension

Hypertension or high blood pressure can be caused due to several factors like excessive alcohol, smoking, obesity, heredity or lack of exercise. Untreated hypertension can lead to serious complications like heart failure and death in extreme cases. In most cases, people who are suffering from high blood pressure have low calcium intake. Adding sources rich in calcium such as nuts, low fat dairy products, fish oil, broccoli and salmon to one’s diet is also very helpful in treating the disease.
