What is normally referred to as Blood Pressure is actually Arterial Blood Pressure and it is the force exerted by circulation of blood on the walls of the arteries. Blood pressure is an important indicator of a person's well-being. Therefore it is evident that people panic when their blood pressure is found to be higher or lower than normal. Mono and poly unsaturated fats present in foods such as sunflower oil, hemp and soya are effective in controlling low blood pressure. Drink lots of liquids like water, fruit and vegetable juice. Also  Sprinkle some herbs on to your food. Eat foods which are high on energy However, there are special cases where doctors advice patients to decrease their carbohydrate intake.

There are many drugs available today to stabilize blood pressure, but it is an added advantage if people start recognizing their onus in reducing personal health risks and work towards eliminating hazardous elements. Eating habits contribute a lot to the betterment of one's health. Therefore, special attention must be paid to it.
